I've been working on manga titles for a number of years, although it was only in 2001 that I finally managed to complete something. I am still working on a number of titles, some of which I originally conceived as long ago as 1998. I have since set up the UK manga group 'Sweatdrop Studios' which serves to promote and distribute titles for myself and a number of other UK based manga artists.

Dock Leaves; Sweatdrop Ashcom #2

Dock Leaves basically consists of a collection of short comics based around my life, my comics, characters from my comics and strange combinations of all three. It also includes information about existing works, and a little preview of upcoming efforts. This is a one off for me, as I don’t have intentions of doing comics like this in the future. ^-^

				Out of Reach A short self-contained piece spanning 8 pages in total. This manga is a romantic short for inclusion in the Love, Sweat & Tears anthology published by Sweatdrop Studios on Nov 1st 2002. An experiment for me in many ways, dabbling in new inking & toning methods and lots of dynamic and unsual camera angles. Attic

Attic was my first completed manga story, was completed in June 2001 and first printed in October 2001.

With the story of Attic, I was keen to present a scenario without prejudice and allow the reader to deduce their own conclusion and overall opinion from the events. As a result certain parts of the story are more exposed than others, and much of the story falls to place in very end of the story.

Weighing in at 33 pages of artwork in total. The story is a completed noir styled short. The printed version of Attic is available to buy from Sweatdrop Studios.

				Little Attic The title says it all. ^_~ Little Attic is a very short spoof of my original Attic manga used as a free handout to promote Sweatdrop Studios. The story doesn't follow the exact same plot as the original (for a number of reasons, not least of which not wanting to ruin the plot of the Attic) and it is basically very silly. This is not available to buy, but is to be included free with orders from Sweatdrop, and it is also available for free in some comic shops.
